Paula Ebeyer

Paula began dancing as a 7 year old with Marilyn & Graeme Dowd at the Ballet Centre Dandenong. She studied Classical Ballet under the Cecchetti method and completed her exams through to Advanced. During her time training she also began assisting in classes which started her passion for teaching. After years of teaching in local dance schools Paula was approached and encouraged to start up her own and in 1989 she opened Jazz Connection in Endeavour Hills – enrolling 100 students in her first week! The school, which was predominately Jazz to begin with, quickly evolved and progressed to include many dance styles as well as new locations – running very successfully in the Yarra Valley since 2006. In 2011, now with co-principal Lauryn, they changed the name of the school to Live2Dance (L2D) to reflect a change in direction, keeping up with modern times and modern styles.

Lauryn Jordan

Lauryn began dancing when she was 3 years old and now has over 20 years performing and 10 years teaching experience. After completing her business qualifications she began teaching dance at the College of Creative Arts and Technologies before going on to complete her Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. Since then she has worked as a senior teacher for many dance schools, including becoming co-principal at Live2Dance (formally Jazz Connection). She currently also teachers Business, Marketing, Jazz and Contemporary at Box Hill TAFE, training aspiring dance teachers. Lauryn is also a registered teacher of the LMDS©, for which she completed her own Classical Ballet exams and is also qualified to administer them.
